From application to autonomy
A clear process, where every decision is examined by the KYED team.
The assessment
Each application is reviewed by the KYED team using a structured form that separates the project from its founder.
Project
- Problem
- Proposed solution
- Market and customers
- Business model
- Feasibility, needs, risks
- Potential
Founder
- Motivation and commitment
- Understanding of the project
- Ability to learn
- Experience
- Ability to execute
- Entrepreneurial vision
No automatic score alone decides on admission. Lacking a diploma, experience or capital does not automatically rule out an applicant.
Possible decisions
- Accepted
- The applicant joins the pilot programme. Their entrepreneur file is created.
- To be reworked
- The project has interesting aspects but must be improved before joining.
- Not selected
- The project or the applicant does not currently meet the programme criteria.
Final selection criteria
Being defined
Structured follow-up, period by period
- Objective
- Planned actions
- Completed actions
- Results
- Difficulties
- Decisions
- Next step
Regular review points allow the entrepreneur and the team to measure progress. The entrepreneur remains responsible for their decisions: the mentor challenges, guides and follows up, but never takes control of the business.
Verifiable progress
Planned indicators
- Projects actually launched
- Structured activities
- Objectives achieved
- Skills acquired
- New customers and new suppliers
- Access to new markets
- Revenue growth, only when the participant agrees to provide this information
- Administrative formalisation
- Jobs created, if any
- Survival and growth of businesses over time
The pilot's final indicators may change.
